he iconic Style "O" 14 Fret model gained its popularity thanks to Mark Knopfler. Debuting on the cover of the Brothers in Arms album by Dire Straits, released on May 13th 1985. This brass bodied instrument is polished to a mirror-like shine, nickel plated, and finally etched with the distinctive Hawaiian palm tree design. The maple neck is finished in a traditional sunburst. An ivoroid bound ebony fretboard and vintage-style engraved tuners complete the look of this timeless classic Our reproduction Style O-14 Fret meets the demands of players needing easier access to the higher frets. Based on the original 1937 model, the hard rock maple neck clears 14 frets to the body. The brass body is made of thin gauge material polished to a mirror-like shine, nickel plated and etched with the traditional Hawaiian scene. The "chicken-foot" coverplate, formed back, and inlaid rosewood peghead complete the authentic look of this guitar.
