Sandberg California JM 4 "hardcore" bass guitar Year 2007 n° 4659 very well cared for and with little use that is seen in the frets and fingerboard, just checked and new strings ernie ball 45-100, with case. Characteristics: This German firm has been in the market for a few years now producing quality basses, with excellent materials and finishes. This bass belongs to the Fender wave line, which Sandberg has rightly named "California". The "JM" name refers to the Jazz and Musicman pickups. The bridge pickup can be converted to single by a mini-switch, so you get both Musicman and Fender wave sounds in one instrument, which is very handy. The Delano pickups with 2-band active/passive preamp have enough range to modify the sound even more if you need it. The electronics hides an ace up its sleeve: in active mode you have two EQ bands (bass and treble), both with a central click to indicate the neutral position. When you pull the volume, we enter passive mode, and the EQ logically stops acting, BUT the treble control becomes a passive tone control, allowing the natural treble clipping that the bass would have if it were totally passive. This tone control acts only on the "lower" part of the potentiometer travel, so from the center position down it cuts the tone, and from the center up it does not act. With the Sandberg California JM4 Hardcore Aged, the iconic Braunschweig bass smithy presents an electric bass made of proven woods, offering a versatile sound spectrum with an audible vintage note with Delano pickups and 2-band active tone control. The unique hardcore aged finish also gives the bass the look and feel of an instrument with many years of stage experience. Thanks to its aged hardcore finish, the Sandberg JM4 feels like a bass that is frequently used on stage. Six screws ensure a secure connection between the neck and body of the Sandberg California JM4. Construction with proven woods With the construction of the Sandberg California TM4 RW Midnight Blue Hardcore Aged the Brunswick bassists follow classic specifications and produce the body from alder, while the neck consists of mapley is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard. Combined with the six-screw binding, this combination provides a powerful basic Old School sound with a crisp attack and even decay sustain. In addition, the slim neck's "C" profile provides a high level of playing comfort, allowing fatigue-free grooves to leave your fingers even after hours of electric bass playing. Delano pickups for versatile sounds The electric tone conversion on the Sandberg California JM4 is done by Delano pickups, which give the four-string bass a wide sound spectrum with unmistakable vintage overtones. The Delano M-Style humbucker in the bridge convinces with its assertive power sound, which makes every note noticeable in the pit of the stomach, while the Delano J-Style single coil delivers a warm bass tone with a pleasant old-school feel. The sound spectrum is broadened with the split switch, which can be used for authentic single-coil humbucker sounds. The 2-band active tone control also allows precise adjustment of the sound character. Sandberg hardware The Sandberg California JM4 RW Hardcore Aged is equipped with indestructible hardware from our own company. The bridge is a Sandberg Bridge 4, which thanks to its solid construction supports the even sound of the bass. The bridge also ensures perfect intonation and string position adjustment thanks to its three-dimensional adjustment. On the top plate the strings pass over the zero fret to the Sandberg Pins, which ensure precise and lasting tuning of the electric bass. Hardcore aged The unique hardcore aged finish of the Sandberg California JM4 is handcrafted and skillfully mimics the playing cues of a bass that was often used to rock the stage. However, the artificial aging is not limited to the paint, all the hardware is also lovingly processed.
