The new Albatroz 65′ model is the latest addition to the Maybach range. A very close reproduction of an early 60’s SG Junior, this no-thrills axe feels like a true vintage gem, yet is available at a players price-point. The mahogany slab body and one-piece mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard and a single P-90 pickup are a tried and true recipe for killer tone!
I’ve owned a few 60’s SG’s and the feel and sound of the Albatroz is spot on. Without looking on the headstock it would be hard to tell the difference. Nice chunky neck, lightweight, classic tones from the superb sounding Amber P-90, and gorgeous aging.. Luxurious hardcase included.
